SACRED VALLEY VIP
The Sacred Valley is formed by the Urubamba (Vilcanota) River. It was the center of the Inca civilization and is currently one of the main destinations in South America.There are houses and many colonial towns where you can see the daily life of the people of the Andes, ancient Inca cities abandoned almost in really good conditions. It is the «Spiritual Center in South America» and one of the best places to practice adventure sports in Peru. But it is also an excellent place to buy traditional Andean textiles, crafts and other typical Andean souvenirs, including gold and silver jewelry.
This tour begins at 6:45 am to pick you up from your hotel to go to Chinchero town (located 40 minutes from Cusco),There we will visit the archaeological Park that belong to Tupac Inca Yupanqui, the tenth Inca ruler, and it´s colonial Church that preserves the best expression of colonial art, you will also be part about a textile interpretation center where you will see a demonstration of the use of natural dyes and Inca iconography. Continuing our visit, we will head towards the famous circular farming terraces of Moray, unique in the world,they are giants natural holes that were used to build agricultural terraces, then we will go to the town of San Francisco de Asís de Maras characterized by its colonial doorways with shields of the noble chiefs of the 16th and 20th centuries, after that we will go to Salineras de Maras, a picturesque place for its landscapes; where you will see more than 3000 salt wells that were exploited since pre Inca and Inca times and used as a means of commercial trading. You will also appreciate in this place the famous pink salt used by chefs from all over the world, continuing the journey along the banks of the Vilcanota River until we reach the province of Urubamba where we will enjoy our buffet lunch (3-fork restaurant) we will continue our trip to Ollantaytambo, known as «The last Living Inca City», its streets still maintain the same urban layout as in the time of the Incas. Ollantaytambo reminds us of a mythical love story, a drama that makes love prevail over all obstacles, it is believed that this city was built by the Inca General Ollantay, in a moment of rebellion against the royal army of the Inca by preventing his union with the beautiful princess Cusi Qoyllor «Estrella Hermosa». Once we finish Ollantaytambo we go to the last place Pisaq is one of the largest Inca cities in Peru which is divided into different sectors, one of these is the cemetery with more than 3000 tombs located on the slope of the rocky mountain and other sectors such as the set of terraces that They divide the urban and agricultural areas.
After that we continue with the town of Pisaq where we will have an exhibition of silver and minerals representing Andean symbols. Return to Cusco at 7:00 pm.

RECOMENDATIONS
- La ciudad del Cusco se ubica a 3,399 metros sobre el nivel del mar (m.s.n.m.). A esa altura se recomienda beber mate de coca para combatir el mal de altura.
- El clima de Cusco es en su mayor parte templado. Los días son generalmente soleados en el día. Sin embargo, las lluvias pueden ocurrir en cualquier momento. Se aconseja llevar un poncho para la lluvia.
- Lleve consigo botellas de agua, snacks y dinero en efectivo. Además se aconseja usar bloqueador solar y vestir un gorro o sombrero.
