ENCHANTMENT MAGICAL CUSCO PROGRAM 7D/6N

DAY ONE: CITY TOUR

at 1:30 p.m.we will pick you up from the hotel to do the City Tour, you will visit the Koricancha (Temple of the Sun) and then go to the ceremonial fortress of Sacsayhuamán with its megalithic walls, that was the biggest temple that the Incas made at the fifteenth century , from the fortress there is a unique panoramic view of the surroundings, including the city of Cusco and other archaeological places then you Will visit  Qenqo, Pukapukara and Tambomachay. Overnight in Cusco

DAY TWO: SACRED VALLEY

After breakfast Pick you up from the hotel (07:30 hrs) to go to the archaeological citadel of Pisaq, considered one of the largest Inca citadels in Peru. We will have a tour on the main sectors called neighborhoods, as well as the cemetery area with more than 3,500 tombs, then  we will go  to the town of Pisaq where we will visit a silver workshop,there  we will recognize the minerals embedded within the silver works representing the andean symbology , Continuing the trip we will go to  Urubamba driving an hour, where you will have a buffet lunch (restaurant with 3 forks). After lunch you will go to Ollantaytambo, one of the last inca living cities where streets still have the same urban layout like at the Inca times and you will visit the wonderful archaeological complex located there . The last place you  is going to be  Chinchero (located one hour from Ollantaytambo) it was  the  Inca Tupac Yupanqui’s palace, the tenth Inca ruler, you will also have a speech with the local people about the dying process , then back to Cusco.

THIRD DAY: MARAS MORAY SALINERAS

Pick up from the hotel at 8:30 a.m .We start the tour driving an  hour and thirty minutes from Cusco to Moray that is a group of giants natural holes on the floor that used to be like an  agricultural terraces, after that from there we will go to San Francisco de Asís village (Maras) characterized by beautiful colonial doors with shields of the nobility  of the 16th and 20th centuries, we will taste the chocolate with salt in the town of maras and information about the salt and their uses, and then we go to the mines of Salineras, where the harvest of salt will be appreciated, which was  used since the Inca times like an exchange system, there also you will appreciate  the famous pink salt used by chefs  around the world . Return to Cusco

FOURTH DAY: RAINBOW MOUNTAIN

Cusco – Cusipata – Vinicunca Pick up at the hotel at 4:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. You will by car from Cusco to Cusipata for around an hour and thirty minutes where you will have a buffet breakfast, then continue along the Cusipata route for 30 minutes, until you reach the town of CHILLIHUANl, where you will go through beautiful places like TINTINKO, RÍO TIGRE, where you will see the Surina mountain from the LLACTO sector. Then you will pass the CUSIPATA checkpoint. Where our journey will continue along a path of approximately 20 minutes until we reach the starting point of the tour. After that, our adventure towards the rainbow mountain will be for around  1 hour and a half, continuing the hike, you will go through a path that will change gradually the landscape between mountains of colors  and small streams of frozen water that  give life to this valley, as well as we can enjoy in the presence of South American camelids such as llama, alpaca. We will reach a maximum height of 5029m. Top of the mysterious Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca). After the experience, you will walk back along the same route to the city where the tour started, where the buffet lunch will be waiting for you, and then you will return to Cusco around 6:00 p.m.

FIFTH DAY: SOUTH VALLEY

Pick up from the hotel at 8:30 a.m. to visit Tipón, the best expression of the Inca hydraulic system still in full operation, the group of terraces or platforms and the religious area, then visit one of the pre-Inca citadels, the central axis of the Wari culture the  famous Piquillaqta with its straight streets, military urban system, buildings over 12 m high and ending with a visit to the colonial church of Andahuaylillas, one of the greatest expressions in colonial art, return to Cuscom.

SIXTH DAY: HUMANTAY LAGOON

The Humantay lagoon is considered one of the most beautiful and sacred lagoons in Cusco with its turquoise waters  with the snow-capped mountains of Salkantay (6271 masl) and  Humantay (5473 masl) one of the places you must visit. Pick up from the hotel between 4:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., two hours from Cusco to Mollepata by car where you will have a delicious breakfast, then we will continue for another hour to the starting point of the walk called Soraypampa (3900 masl) two hours of walking uphill, average of three kilometers, we will spend an hour around the Humantay lagoon for the time of photographs, explanation of the guide, enjoy the landscape area and then return to the town of Mollepata where the buffet lunch awaits for you and then return to Cusco two more hours of travel.

SEVENTH DAY: MYSTIC TOUR

Our tour begins at 10 am leaving the city of Cusco to go to  The  God’s Home of Cusco is also known as Apukunaq Tianan of Cusco and is a complex of lithic sculptures recently carved by a local guy named Michel de Titan Monteagudo Mejía. It is a place with its own magic due to the enormous size of the sculptures that measure between approximately 4 to 8 meters high. This modern and wonderful attraction was dedicated to the Gods of the Inca culture, such as: La Pachamama, the Puma, the three-dimensional door and the Mirador. After this visit we will go to the labyrinth of elves or Valley of the Goblins. It was started in 2021 and is now a new tourist attraction for adults and children, it is also known as Campana Huancac because one of its rocks, when hit with a stone, it  sounds similar to  a bell, it has a mythical atmosphere with the presence of various goblin sculptures that will accompany you throughout the entire route, between paths, caves and rocky labyrinths, it also has many and imposing stone sculptures of thematic Andean and environmentalist, later we continue towards the south east zone to the town center of Wasao district of Saylla where we will visit the Huasao wetlands, a natural area where huge wood carvings were made with fictional figures such as ‘Groot’, ‘Baby Groot’ and ‘Ents’. These and other figures of the place have a message of caring for the environment. The visit to the wetlands is an excellent opportunity to escape the bustle of the city and find some nature and we end with the forest of the «Ents of the Lord of the Rings» is a Natural and Ecological Recreational forest with more than 13 Root Sculptures and Trunks located in the same town of Wasao, the return is at 5 pm, lunch at the expense of the optional passenger in Wasao. Farewell, transfer and return to Cusco

➢ All reservations are confirmed with 50% advance payment and the remaining 50% payment is required 7 days before.

➢ Once the reservation is made, the tickets are purchased, which are not transferable or modifiable, the passenger must show up on the day and at the indicated time, otherwise he loses the entire tour.

➢ In case of not showing up for the tour, LOSE 100% OF THE AMOUNT PAID, there is no refund of money.
