Detailed itinerary of the Magical Cusco and Machu Picchu 4-day/3-night program
FIRST DAY: AIRPORT PICKUP – AFTERNOON CITY TOUR
Pick up from the airport to your hotel in Cusco at 1:30 p.m., pick up from the hotel for the City Tour, visit the Koricancha (Temple of the Sun) and then visit the ceremonial fortress of Sacsayhuamán with its megalithic walls, the greatest architectural work of the Incas during their heyday. From the fortress there is a unique panoramic view of the surrounding area, including the city of Cusco and other archaeological sites such as Qenqo, Pukapukara and Tambomachay. Overnight in the city of Cusco.
SECOND DAY: SACRED VALLEY VIP WITH CONNECTION TO MACHU PICCHU
After breakfast, pick up from the hotel (6:45 a.m.) to go to the town of Chinchero (located 40 minutes from Cusco), the palace of the Inca Tupac Yupanqui, the tenth Inca ruler. You will also be part of experiential tourism with a visit to a textile center where you will see a demonstration of the use of natural dyes in fabrics.
We will continue the visit to the archaeological complex of Moray, unique in its kind. These are depressions or gigantic natural holes that were used to build agricultural terraces. From here, we will go to the village of San Francisco de Asís de Maras, characterized by its colonial doors with coats of arms of the nobles and caciques of the 16th and 20th centuries. Then you will go to the Salineras salt mines, where you will see the salt harvest, which has been exploited since Inca times and used as a means of trade. You will also see the famous pink salt used by chefs around the world.
Continuing the journey along the banks of the Vilcanota River, you will arrive in Urubamba, where you will enjoy an exquisite buffet lunch.
Then you will head to Ollantaytambo, one of the last living Inca towns, whose streets still maintain the same urban layout as in Inca times, and visit the wonderful archaeological complex located there. After the visit, you will board the train at the Ollantaytambo station to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you will stay at a hotel in the town. The guide will coordinate the guided tour of the citadel for the following day.
DAY THREE: AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHUPICCHU CITADEL
The next day, breakfast (optional) and departure at approximately 6:00 a.m. You will take the tourist bus to the citadel of Machu Picchu for an average of 25 minutes, then you will have a guided tour of this magical place for 2 hours to take a complete tour (Temple of the Sun, Sacred Plaza, Intiwatana, Main Plaza, Quarries, etc.). You will then have free time to explore the site (Inca bridge, Sun Gate).
After the tour in Machu Picchu, you will return to the town of Aguas Calientes and take the train back to Cusco around 7:00 p.m. (approximately one and a half hours). You will arrive in the town of Ollantaytambo, where the transfer driver will pick you up to return to the city of Cusco (one and a half hours more), hotel in Cusco.
FOURTH DAY: TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT
Transfer to the airport, farewell, and end of services.

BOOKING CONDITIONS:
➢ All passengers must carry their identity document (children and adults), or their passport if they are of another nationality.
➢ All reservations are confirmed with a 50% deposit, and the remaining 50% is required 7 days in advance.
➢ Once the reservation is made, tickets are purchased, which are non-transferable and non-changeable. Passengers must arrive at the indicated date and time, otherwise they will lose the entire tour.
➢ If you do not show up for the tour, you will lose 100% of the amount paid. There are no refunds.
➢ Prices do not apply to HOLIDAYS AND FESTIVE DATES.
➢ The price does not include IGV (tourism tax). If you would like an invoice, you must add 18% of the total, which will be requested during business hours.
➢ Cancellations made up to 15 days before the trip will be refunded 50% of the advance payment. Cancellations made 7 days before the date of the trip will not be refunded due to administrative costs.
➢ The agency is not responsible for the cancellation or interruption of services caused by natural phenomena such as high waves, abnormal winds, floods, roadblocks, traffic, strikes, transport stoppages, or other causes that interfere with the itinerary.
➢ The tours are in shared groups, so passengers must adapt to the group’s schedule, keeping in mind the importance of punctuality from the time of pickup.
