FIRST DAY: AIRPORT PICKUP – CITY TOUR

Pickup from the airport to your hotel in Cusco, where you can rest for a while and acclimatize to the altitude. At 1:30 p.m., pickup from the hotel for the City Tour, a perfect experience to begin discovering the magic of this ancient city.

You will visit the Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), the most important spiritual center of the Inca Empire, which was once covered in gold plates. Then you will visit the impressive ceremonial fortress of Sacsayhuamán, famous for its gigantic stones fitted together with absolute precision, a testament to the Inca’s advanced knowledge of engineering and architecture.

From the fortress, you will enjoy a unique panoramic view of the surrounding area, including the city of Cusco and other important archaeological sites such as Qenqo, with its mysterious passages; Pukapukara, an ancient Inca military post; and Tambomachay, known as the temple of water.

During the tour, your guide will share stories and legends that will bring each place to life with the glorious past of the Incas.

Overnight in Cusco, ready to continue exploring more wonders the next day.

SECOND DAY: SACRED VALLEY

Pick up from your hotel at 7:30 am and head to the citadel of Pisaq, one of the largest Inca metropolises, where you will visit the main sectors, including the largest and best-preserved cemetery, with more than 3,000 ancestral tombs. Visit the goldsmith workshop in the village of Pisaq.

Lunch will be in the province of Urubamba, where you will enjoy a varied buffet with typical regional flavors.

Then you will head to Ollantaytambo, one of the last living Inca towns, whose streets still preserve the original urban layout of the Inca era. You will visit the wonderful archaeological complex located there.

Afterwards, we will head to the train station to board at 4:30 pm. Overnight hotel in the picturesque town of Aguas Calientes.

THIRD DAY: MACHUPICCHU

The next day, after spending the night in Aguas Calientes, the private guide will pick you up at your hotel at the coordinated time to board the bus to the citadel of Machu Picchu.

You will take a private guided tour of approximately 3 hours, visiting the main areas according to the circuit you have booked.

Machu Picchu has three official circuits:

• Circuit 2: This is the most complete circuit, including the most representative points of the citadel. Advance booking is required as it is in high demand.

• Circuit 1: This is a panoramic tour with general views from the higher parts.

• Circuit 3: This tour only covers the lower part of Machu Picchu and is shorter.

After the guided tour, you will descend back to the town of Aguas Calientes to take the train back to Ollantaytambo at 2:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m., depending on the time of entry and the circuit chosen.
