It is one of the most popular tours in Cusco city, you will visit two very important tourist attractions in the sacred valley of the Incas and the citadel of Machupichu that is the most important tourist attraction of Cusco. Now known as one of the “Seven Wonders of the World of the Modern World”, it is currently considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and is the most visited destination in Peru for having extraordinary architectural and landscape samples, preserving an special flora and fauna.

After breakfast we pick you up from the hotel towards the town of Chinchero that is part of the sacred valley of the Incas, there we will have a textile speech information about Andean culture preserved in the textiles, we will learn the weaving techniques, as well as the use of natural dyes and the different types of fibers , and then we go to MORAY where you can see four circular agricultural terraces that were made at the Inca times in which they were used to create microclimates and generate different temperatures in them, and be able to obtain the best quality of Andean agricultural products. These circular terraces also show us the skill of the Inca engineers in the construction of irrigation channels and water transportation to each terraces, all this amazing place is surrounded by the beautiful landscape of the eastern mountain range of the Andes. After Moray we will move to MARAS town ,located in the upper parts of the sacred valley of the Incas which is inhabited by approximately 600 families who are the owners of the salt mines that keep the same name as the town. Here you can see in each house its colonial stone doors (facades), which show us that at one point in its history it was a place of a lot of commercial movement, there we will have the opportunity to taste the different varieties of salt produced by the Maras salt mines, we continue to the MINAS DE SALINERAS It is a beautiful natural attraction located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, in which you can enjoy more than 4000 saltwater pools in that place. We use the salt mines since pre-Inca times and today, the technique used for the salt harvest is given by evaporation of water and this happensj ust in the season of the year that is very hot (April – October) then we go to Urubamba town where we will have the buffet lunch in a tourist restaurant Don Ángel Inca Casona where you will enjoy an excellent buffet lunch (vegetarian and vegan options available) in one of the best restaurants in the Valley highly qualified. After lunch we go to Ollantaytambo to have the tour of the archaeological site, that at the inca times was the check point to the Jungle, finally we will take you to the station to board the selected train (15:30 pm) This train trip is around an hour and forty five minutes and you will see incredible views of the rainforest before seeing Machu Picchu.

Arrival at Aguas calientes town , go to hotel, free time, overnight in a three-star hotel category.

On the next day according in your entrance ticket to Machupicchu we will pick you up to go to the bus station, to ascend 400 m. high, along a zigzag path, for 30 minutes until we reach the incredible world wonder , The historical Sanctuary of Machupichu.

Upon arriving at the citadel of Machu Picchu, we will pass the control, and begin our guided excursion, visiting the Main Square, the intihuatana , the temple of the sun, the guardian’s house, for approximately more than two hours. Then you will be given free time to explore the place, descent to Aguas calientes town by bus , time for lunch and rest.

In the afternoon we will board the return train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo train station where the transfer is waiting for you to continue in a tourist bus to Cusco.
