Machupichu One Day Tour
The citadel of Machupichu is the most important tourist attraction of Cusco. Now known as one of the «Seven Wonders of the World «, it is currently considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and is the most visited destination in Peru for having extraordinary architectural and beautiful landscape , preserving a peculiar flora and fauna.
ITINERARY:
We will go to your hotel to pick you up to go to Ollantaytambo train station for approximately 1 hour and a half to board the tourist train and there we will begin the trip from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes town (2000 masl) around 1 hour and 45 minutes., where our official tour guide will be waiting for you, with him we will go to the bus station, to go up by bus 400 m. high, along a zigzag path, for 30 minutes until you reach the incredible Historic Sanctuary of Machupicchu.
Upon arrival at the citadel of Machu Picchu, we will go through the control point, where we will show the entrance tickets and begin our guided tour, visiting the Main Square, the intiwatana (the sunwatch), the temple of the sun, the guardian’s house, approximately for more than two hours. Then you will have free time to explore the place, then descent to the town of Aguas Calientes via bus, time for lunch and rest.
In the afternoon we will board the train to return to Ollantaytambo station where a transfer awaits to continue to Cusco by bus.

- Private Transportation: We will provide you with private transportation to pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and take you to the train station in Ollantaytambo. This journey is a scenic 1 hour and 45-minute trip.
- Train Ticket: Board one of the trains, 6:40 AM VOYAGER, from Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu Pueblo, commonly known as Aguas Calientes. This ride will be a pictures journey lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- Bus Ticket to Machu Picchu: From Aguas Calientes, a swift 30-minute bus ride will ascend to the gates of Machu Picchu tour.
- Machu Picchu Entrance and Guided Tour: Enjoy entry to Machu Picchu at either 9:00 AM or 10:00 AM for circuit 02 followed by an in-depth 2.5-hour guided tour. Explore the mysteries and marvels of this historical site. CIRCUIT 2
- Professional Bilingual Guide: An expert English-Spanish-speaking guide will lead you on a 2.5-hour exploration of Machu Picchu, providing detailed insights into its history and significance.
- Bus Ticket to Aguas Calientes: After your tour, a 30-minute bus ride will take you back down to Aguas Calientes or Machu Picchu Pueblo.
- Return Train Ticket: Depart from Aguas Calientes on 14:30 VOYAGER to Ollantaytambo. This return journey is also 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- Private Transportation Back to Cusco: Upon arrival at Ollantaytambo train station, we will pick you up and provide a comfortable 1 hour and 45-minute drive back to your hotel in Cusco. If you prefer to be dropped off in the Sacred Valley, please let us know to accommodate your desired location, ensuring a smooth conclusion to your Machu Picchu tour.
