SEVENTH DAY: MYSTICAL TOUR

Our tour begins at 10 a.m. with departure from the city of Cusco and heads to the dwelling place of the gods. The Dwelling Place of the Gods of Cusco is also known as Apukunaq Tianan del Cusco and is a complex of stone sculptures recently carved by a Cusco native named Michel de Titan Monteagudo Mejía. It is a place with its own magic due to the enormous size of the sculptures, which measure between 4 and 8 meters in height. This modern and wonderful attraction was dedicated to the gods of the Inca culture, such as Pachamama, the Puma, the three-dimensional door, and the Mirador. After this visit, we will head to the labyrinth of goblins or Valley of the Goblins, which was inaugurated in 2021 and is now a new tourist attraction for young and old alike. It is also known as Campana Huancac because one of its rocks, when struck with a stone, emits a sound similar to that of a bell. It has a mythical atmosphere with the presence of various sculptures of goblins that will accompany you throughout the tour, among paths, caves, and rocky labyrinths. It also has various impressive stone sculptures with Andean and environmental themes. We then continue to the south-east to the town of Wasao in the district of Saylla, where we will visit the Huasao wetlands, a natural area where huge wood carvings of fictional figures such as ‘Groot’, ‘Baby Groot’ and ‘Ents’ have been made. These and other figures in the area convey a message of environmental care. The visit to the wetlands is an excellent opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and find some nature. We will end with the “Ents of Lord of the Rings” forest, a natural and ecological recreational forest with more than 13 sculptures made from roots and tree trunks located in the town of Wasao itself. The return is at 5 pm, with lunch at the passenger’s expense in Wasao. Farewell, transfer, and end of services.
