DAY 1: CUSCO-OLLANTAYTAMBO- WAYLLABAMBA.
We begin our journey early in the morning at 5:30 a.m. After picking up all our passengers, we will head to Ollantaytambo, where those who wish can have breakfast or buy some candy or chocolate to help with the hike. We will then continue to Km. 82 Piscacucho (2700 m.a.s.l.), where the first checkpoint is located. Then we will begin the 2-hour hike, arriving at Patallacta (2750 meters above sea level), an Inca archaeological site that will be explained by our guide. After our visit to this interesting place, we will walk for 45 minutes to where we will have lunch prepared by our experienced chef and his team, who will surely amaze you with their food.After lunch, we will continue our 1.5-hour hike to our camp in Wayllabamba (3000 m above sea level). After a well-deserved rest, we will have lunch, followed by dinner, and then spend the night.
82- WAYLLABAMBA (8 KM, 4.00 HOURS WALK)
DAY 2: WAYLLABAMBA-WARMIWAÑUSCA PASS –PACAYMAYO.
In the morning, we will have breakfast at 5:30 a.m., then continue the 45-minute hike to the second checkpoint, Wayllabamba, and then begin a gradual 1.5-hour ascent (4 km) to our first rest stop, called TRES PIEDRAS, where we will find restrooms and local shops. We will then continue the 1.5-hour (4 km) ascent to our second rest stop, Llulluchapampa, at 3,800 meters above sea level. Next, we will continue the 1.45-hour (4 km) hike to the Warmiwañusca Pass at 4,215 meters above sea level. Then we descend for 2.5 hours to the Pacay Mayo campsite at 3,600 meters above sea level, where we will have tea and dinner and spend the night.
WAYLLABAMBA-WARMIWAÑUSCA PASS –PACAYMAYO (12 KM, 8 HOURS)
DAY 3: PACAYMAYO – WIÑAYHUAYNA.
After breakfast, we will continue our hike. This section is 16 km long. It is full of vegetation and many Inca archaeological sites with different functions. The first archaeological site we will visit is Runcurakay (3,750 meters above sea level), located 45 minutes from the starting point. It is another Inca archaeological complex in the form of towers that has a strategic location for surveillance of the eastern valley.Then we will continue to Runcurakay Pass (3,900 meters above sea level), where we will have a brief explanation of Inca culture. We will then descend for 1.5 hours to the second archaeological site we will visit, Sayacmarka (an area that is difficult to climb due to the steep steps). Afterward, we will continue for 25 minutes to the lunch spot
Chaquicocha, where we will enjoy a lunch prepared by our chef. We will then continue the hike to the next archaeological site to visit, called Puyupatamarca (3,750 meters above sea level), for 2.5 hours. We will continue with the 3-hour descent down the steps to our camp at Wiñayhuayna, where we will have tea and a special dinner because on this day we will have a farewell ceremony for our porters. (This camp may vary with Phuyupatamarca depending on availability.) If we stay at the Phuyupatamarca camp on day 4, we will walk 3 hours downhill to Wiñaywayna and approximately 2 more hours to Machu Picchu, arriving at the citadel at around 11 a.m.
PACAYMAYO – WIÑAYHUAYNA. (16 KM- 12 HOURS)
DAY 4- WIÑAYHUAYNA – MACHUPICHU – CUSCO.
On this day, we will wake up at 3:30 a.m. for breakfast, then descend to the checkpoint where we will wait for 1 hour and 20 minutes. After passing the checkpoint, we will walk for 1 hour and 30 minutes to Inti Punku (Sun Gate), where we will take a 20-minute break to enjoy the majestic view of Machu Picchu and Waynapicchu. Then we will begin the 1-hour descent to the citadel of Machu Picchu.
Afterwards, we will enjoy a 2-hour tour full of history with our guide, and you will have free time to take more photos and explore the archaeological site. From there, we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you can have lunch on your own and visit the hot springs before finally heading to the train station, which may be (6:20 p.m. or 9:50 p.m., depending on availability) to return to the town of Ollantaytambo and from there by tourist bus to the city of Cusco, where we will drop you off at the San Francisco square.
WIÑAYHUAYNA – MACHUPICHU (6 KM- 3 HOURS)

CANCELLATION POLICY
- If you cancel this tour, you will not receive a full refund.
- If you cancel the tour more than 6 days in advance, the penalty will be $200.00 USD.
- If you cancel one day before or on the day of the tour, you will not receive a refund because everything will already be organized.
- In order not to lose the entire package, you can go to Aguas Calientes and meet up with your group to visit Machu Picchu, but you will have to cover the travel expenses to Machu Picchu.
